Rodney Frey began teaching industrial arts at Bethel in 1975 and moved into the role of registrar in 1991. In 2011, the Kansas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers presented him with the Laura Cross Distinguished Service Award, KACRAO's highest honor. He was the first person from a Kansas private college to receive the award since it was initiated in 1987. This article is based on remarks Rodney made in chapel at the end of the 2011-12 school year. He retired June 30, 2012.
