Do you have the winning ball from an important game? Did your Bethel athletic team foster international friendships? Did your sport help you overcome adversity in a significant way? Kauffman Museum is looking for Bethel sports artifacts that tell great stories.

Thanks in part to a grant from the Kansas Humanities Council, Kauffman Museum will mount an exhibition in fall 2015 called Root for the Home Team: Building Community through Sports. Bethel College has been named a partner site for the Smithsonian Institution’s Hometown Teams exhibition that is currently touring Kansas.

If you have an artifact that tells a good story and you’d like to consider loaning it for this exhibition, please contact Rachel Epp Buller, 316-284-5222 or rebuller@bethelks.edu, by April 20, 2015. There will also be a time to share your stories at Kauffman Museum during Fall Festival 2015.
